Christians have worshipped on the hill of Kildare since at least the year 480 AD when Saint Brigid made the site her permanent home. We invite all visitors to worship with us in this place of profound historic significance and captivating beauty, whilst also engaging with the living Christian faith of the Church of Ireland cathedral community today.

We are open for visitors: 1st May to 30th September Monday to Saturday -10-1 & 2-5 Sunday 2-5 PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO RESTORATION WORKS ONGOING ON THE ROUND TOWER IT WILL NOT BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY DISAPPOINTMENT CAUSED.
